Is 100 watts enough to play out? ... mmmmmmnope.

I feel like 100 watts are plenty, if you're doing your best to maximize

    cabs for bass and guitar?

As far as the head goes, there are numerous options that will fit the criteria; I would recommend using a separate cabinet for guitar vs bass, however.

OH MY!! Found this on Ebay. HOLY $#%*!

I really wonder what that sounds like fully overdriven with all three cabs connected...

    8x10 + 2x15???

To answer the OP: I would get another 810 to go with the second Tour 700. It should give the most consistent results. It'll be awesome either way you slice it, but that's just my take on the question. 16 tens being driven by 1400 watts, you should have an ample helping of volume, IMO

    fundamental frequncy cabinet design

I'd love to have a few of those JBL's from that link at my disposal. I'd get some synth pedals, among other things, and proceed to establish some way to make my bass generate tones that would be almost too heavy for EDM :)

    Increase headroom in bassman 50W

With four VERY efficient 15's, a HPF, a tune-up on the amp, and heavy overdrive, I'm sure it would be surprisingly loud. Although, it would also be a VERY limited-application tone.

    I don't really like my RH450...

I must say that the compression didn't sound very "tubey" to me. Just kind of squished.

    Very light full-range cabinets?

F210 seems the way to go. Two of them, and you'll be set for virtually anything!

    Increase headroom in bassman 50W

I have a hard time believing that 50 watts will not be enough. Heck, I once got all the volume I needed for a solid jam with just 15 watts, lol.

    VT Bass Rackmount...

I'm really impressed by the presence Tech 21 has on this thread. They obviously take great care to present their products well, and do not shy away from endless questions. Awesome! :)

    I don't really like my RH450...

I'd really like to try a shuttle. I get the impression that with the right dirt pedal, you can get the sort of tones I'm after.

    I don't really like my RH450...

I played one for a bit. Was massively unimpressed. It felt like a bass POD with only one model, and less flexible EQ. I did dig the form factor, but that was about all.

Kinda' feel bad for owners of newer Ampeg gear

If it sounds like the SVT, feels like the SVT, and looks like the SVT....
