Just measured mine. On the neck pinkup, it's 7mm from the E string and 5-6mm from the G string. On the bridge pickup it's 6mm from the E string and 3-4mm from the G string. Dunno if that's how you actually measure it, but hope it helps.

Hey, So I've been very intrigued in the Snap Jack style cable, as it would be nice to quickly switch basses between songs. Yet, they seem to be discontinued, and I haven't been able to find anything. Is there anything similar to them, or a link to purchase the Snap Jacks? Thanks.

I've tried playing 5 string basses before, but for some odd reason the 5th string messes with my mind and it's like I have a stroke while playing bass :roflmao: Currently rock out though on a Squier J with Quarter Pounders and a Dean Zone II GC exclusive.

That does make it a bit tricky. If you owned the gear, then it would be easy to take a day and get everything preset. Another option could be to buy a wireless pack for your bass so you can still play while walking out where the crowd would be. Yeah it would be a bit of an expensive investment...
