It's in the serial number... I'm away from home for a couple weeks, but I'll post mine when I get back... I think it starts with "AE" for anniversary edition. Other than that, it's the only Lakelands built in 1999 with stock gold hardware.

Hahaha! That was right after cleaning, so don't trust the controls location.

I love my 1999 5 year Anniversary Edition 55-94! Highly figured top, Birdseye maple neck and board, and gold hardware. Crystal clear electronics, extremely articulate, and amazing resonate tone. I believe only 25 of each model were made. Anyone else here have one of these beauties?

Nice! Mine is Birdseye Maple board with light weight Ash body, Cottonwood Burl top and Purple Heart accents. I was playing a lot of 4 hour gigs, so Cliff used the lightest body he had... this weighs in at 7.6 lbs! First time I picked her up, I was amazed at how light she was.

It's been a long time, but I just cleaned and changed the strings on my custom CB Bass and had to share. Love the tone and feel of this bass. Thanks to Cliff for making such an amazing instrument.

I've seen a few folks talk about refinishing a modulus neck. Anyone had it done? How much is it? Can a regular luthier do it with the carbon fiber?

Yeah... He listed it for about 1 hour. Had to either sell it or his jazz or p bass. His p bass sold so he's keeping it (for now). Makes me want to wait just in case he decides to get rid of it again!

Says it comes with case but not sure if it's original. My other friend just picked up this one for $1800, so I was hoping to get the other one cheaper because it's a bit rough. Is replacement hardware eat to come by (knobs and bridge)?

How does the sound compare to a stock modulus?

What is the width of the neck near the pickups? Trying to see if the neck is too thin for my preference.
