+1 all day. I have the BB1025X and it has the best B string I've ever played/heard.

+1 all day Though I think they have different split pickups. The BB1024s have blades just like the bridge but the BB424 has poles.

BB1024X I have the 5 string version and absolutely love it. With that being said I bet that Ibanez feels completely different. Might want to track it down to give it a play.

If you dig passives I'd throw a vote in for the Yamaha BB1025X (or if thats a bit too 'spensive then the 425X).

I have a Yamaha BB1025X and they have 4+1 headstocks. I currently use: Invalid Link Removed Works quite well.

If you don't mind passive then I would highly recommend a Yamaha BB1025X. It's definitely sub $2k and it's a fantastic instrument.
