Boss Waza Air Headphones. Now for bass.

A bit late on this one, I just saw the advert. It looks and sounds cool but at ~630.00$ CAD I'm gonna pass. I got a Vox amPlug for 65.00$ CAD; it sounds meh but I can still buy a decent 200.00$ practice amp and still be ahead by over 350.00$. Nice, but WAY overpriced.

    A bucket, a string, and a stick.

Is this true? Only open strings on metal?

First, someone should tell him to blow his knows before making a video. Furthermore, saying “Ya know” more then 10 times in a 2m 30s is unacceptable. He is right about being different ways of playing bass or even the same song/bassline and there is no wrong way if it sounds good. Then there’s...

Heavy Sterling Ray34 should I sell?

It sounds good but it`s a bit heavy? That's a shame. You should sell it quickly and cheaply. You know what? You sound like a nice guy, I`ll give 200$ to take it off your hands... :roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::D

DAW With Focus On Recording Rather Than Internal Beat Making and MIDI?

+1 for Cakewalk. Why? 1. Free 2. Works on Windows PC/Laptop 3. Easy to use (focus on recording bass tracks) 4. I've been using it for decades, so I'm bias (as most people in this thread ;))

So I bought this crazy fretless neck for 19 bucks

There seems to be an increase in zebra wood instruments and parts from China. I won`t speculate on the quality of the wood but here`s a link with more information on the lumber: Zebra Wood.

    My hands

    A) Yes, glad you & Mrs are OK. C) Agree 100%. A physiotherapist can be pricy and hard to find (depending on where you live) but can be well worth the investment. I busted my elbow years ago playing hockey. I found an amazing physiotherapist who specialized in sports injuries. I recovered 100%...

Convince Me That it’s okay to give up on 5 strings

I started on 4 strings but when I tried 5 strings it felt "natural" to me. After a hiatus, I went back to a 4 strings bass (EBMM )that I traded for a five strings (L-2500) less then a year later. I got a 6 strings and I must admit that I play it once in a blue moon. Conclusion: 5 stings is...

Brand new Fender Pbass QC: acceptable or not acceptable

My experience matches yours. I don`t think it`s due to the number of bolts or having a plate. I think it`s Fender`s sloppy QC. Yes I`m a G&L fanboy, but I have yet to hear about poor QC from G&L.

    Player's Grade (band ettiquite)

"Player Grade Vintage Guitars Not every vintage guitar can be a pristine, all-original example destined for a collector's vault. Living Colour-Time's Up

Based on this thread, I opened Spotithingy this morning and typed Living Color in the search. Back in the "90s I had all their albums on what fornat? Cassette tapes of course! Horrible medium, but it was affordable and practical (portable). So I start listening to all their albums like I use...

how did you overcome red light fever?

Again, lots of good advice from TBers. In my experience, there is no "magical" or "quick" fix to this. Just experience. Same as playing live, soloing or tying a Windsor knot; the more you do it the better you get at it until it becomes so easy you can do it you eyes closed. Good luck...

    NBD + G&L Questions

Great G&L thread. But to adress OP: That's a common comment. When I got my first L-2500 ... Oh my god! That was 25 years ago! ... I was a bit overwhelmed by the output and presence of the bass. It's the absolute best when playing with rock band (with a guitar player's Marshall stack that were...
