As for tunings, in my current group it's just easy Eb standard for everyone. In my old band Heavycraft, with three lead singers, tunings were all over the map, we used like 3 or 4 different tunings and would gig with 2-3 of them.

New "mini" amp day. I picked up a used TH700 after using the TH350 at recent gigs. Both pictured for size comparison, even together they are superlight. My AD200 remains in deep storage though I did get to fire it up a couple months ago (after a couple years) and it roared to life.

I'm still choking the life outta my poor neck. :P

Didn't get to use the Ric this time as my T-bird is my only axe set up for C-stnd. I ran that into a Sansamp and sent a parallel signal into an ODB, then those into a 2-channel mixer to do the tracking quick & dirty for my guitarist to assemble on his end.

VCR is in. Sounds great and makes for fun knob-tweaking, but probably not all that practical from a bass perspective. I'd definitely use the chorus function live, but this will likely fall in the "noodle around with it for a while and flip it" category. Current build...

To my ears it sounds amazing on my P (w/GZR pup) and a pick. Has that killer attack & bite that can hang with multiple guitars in a band.

Been about 2 years, but the ODB is as easy to dial-in and versatile as I remember. Next-level bass dirt and a classic.

pedals update: ordered a used ODB for my dirt and a used VCR for my chorus/delay (been wanting to try this one for a while!) using my old 80s DOD Phasor, too. still on the hunt for a fuzz, maybe an El Oso. oh, and either a rainbow machine or a bass whammy. you know how these things multiply...

Haven't talked to Max in a while, not since I saw Sleep in Milwaukee and that's going on two years! Time flies. Been chatting w/Turkeypillz and catching up with him a bit.

At the very least. Those 3620s ended up with Max.
