Bassline grooves hard, too...

Peanut is an excellent bass player. He made the band, really, for what ever that's worth. I recall really liking music and grass roots at the time. Tried to re-listen to them within the last few years. music is not so great, grass roots kind of holds up for what it is and for that time. still peanut is the main redeeming thing about it all

I have been listening to a lot of records during this time too... and almost no metal at all. For whatever reason it just hasn't appealed to me lately... though Im feeling some NWOBHM this morning. In the stack i just finished and have to put away: Peter Gabriel, The Cure, Roxy Music, Cheap Trick, Neil Young, and Talk Talk. Haha... not very doom-y

Zuma was in fact the record I was talking about. I love it. Might not re-file that one, might keep it out for another listen.

There really isn't a Neil record between 69 and 79 that I don't like.

I love Neil Young. I kinda came of age when he was touted as the “godfather of grunge” in the early ‘90’s. Freedom - Sleeps With Angels are awesome. I remember seeing him on SNL and being blown away when he ripped his strings off. Ima go put on live rusr

Yeah. One of the best. I remember being front row at the Fox Theater for one his acoustic set / electric set shows. Lost my mind when he played Ambulance Blues
