    What's On Your Workbench?

Cool HSS set. Vintage specs singles and alnico 8 medium output humbucker. I didnt have experience with pairing singles and humbucker. So I called local hairy metal guy. Answer was simple: I gave it. Make favorite humbucker and classic singles. It will be fine.

Seasonal neck movement & finish options (e.g. varnishes, coatings, etc.)

Thank you both :) I think that my "tru oil" mix (have two recipes, one contains more varnish than oil, second more oil than varnish) can be suited on this well. Only add mineral spirit for thinner mixture. Must try that on some scrape. What about future maintenance? Must be oiled with classic...

    What's On Your Workbench?

Thank you very much all :) Yes this is surprise for me. But this is disease of this Asia made guitars. And when you count frets hardness (softness). Building an OM Bass

Interesting headstock joint. It is simpler than scarf joint, what about its strenght? There will be plate over?

    Length of an inlay?

One is enough for 2 basses with 21 frets. First rule, not drill much deep. Second use fret pliers for cut it as close as possible to surface

    What's On Your Workbench?

Fretwork on PRS SE. Not good fretwork from factory, some dents from strings and tragic fret material. Now it will be better I think.

    What's On Your Workbench?

Quick question, i wouldn't create new topic. Carbon reinforcement rod vs. screw on bolt on neck. Can I route them full length and no scare about placement rods through them?
