    Unidentifiable Ampeg

Picked up an "Ampeg Bassamp" from Guitar center today. The tag said early 60's Ampeg amp. It has a Jensen 15 inch speaker in it and six tubes. It has two inputs, one for string bass and one for electric. Any idea on what the exact model could be? The Ampeg site has it pictured with amps from the...

Hey guys, Not really that new to TB Forums, but I don't post much. I figured I'd give a self plug. Check out my band Steal The Air. It's a straight forward rock band. I tune my e-string on a four string to b. Sounds great in the recording "death of me". Let me know what you guys think...

    could you do this?

I currently run that kind of set up right now. Line 6 Bass Pod XLT Pro > Hartke Model 3500 Head > Hartke Pro series 4200 cabinet > Bass. However, I am not getting the tone I want with my Bass Pod. It's been so low and thick almost muddy. I'm not sure if this is an issue with the amount of...

    Double Bass Edgar Meyer

I can't believe no one has mentioned this guy. I had a master class with him at my college and saw him play with the Orpheus Orchestra. It was amazing, he played his Concerto in D that can be heard on the Meyer Bottesini Concerto's. Then he encored with Pickles, what a great song. I think he is...
