seriously? this bass looks ridiculously awesome! if i only had the money...

fender precision deluxe 3TSB, MIM. friend of mine switched from clarinette to bass-guitar, bought this beauty and introduced me to it. bought my first own bass few weeks later. never came across another p-bass that felt that comfortable.

fender american deluxe jazz bass is fantastic. played it today, great feel, sound and LOVE the 70's looks. but I'm currently most interested in the lakland skyline 44-60 Vintage J. got the 70's looks, too. and sound and feel... terrific! that's why I voted for something else ;)

I'd like to test a pjb someday, but right now: too freaking expensive. Roland Cube 20XL Bass or Cube 100 Bass? They got good ratings and having different amp models aint that bad either... does anyone have experience with the EBS classic session 60?

gigging-ability is not necessary, for that I'll use the F1. this is just for practice at home, not too loud or with headphones. RickenBoogie, what about the BA108/110? i never played ampeg, they have a very characteristic tone, dont they?

i want a new cab. i'd love to get the orange SP212, but it has 8 ohms, and i want it with 4. but there is no such so i'll have to get one built for me or build it myself... damn.

Invalid Link Removed i love singlecuts, i dig cool headless designs and this one was so refreshingly new and amazing to me... played it in a shop for a few minutes... awful feel. even gave it a second try a week later... nope. not for me.

i never got anyone to share my love for primus. all of my friends always said it sounded too psychadelic, weird, everything but nice or bearable. luckily, about a year ago, a guy from america moved to my neighborhood. just in time to accompany me to a primus concert in berlin. we're close...

thanks for the great suggestions so far! gelb music looks really nice, they have lull, zon, f-bass, sadowsky and elric. dont get to see those in my area. i'm excited :)
