Maybe it was a bronco or musicmaster neck at some point and someone matched it to the mustang body? Maybe if trogly could black light it he’d see more of the shadow of the old decal!

I had a parchment pickguard on a tele that I thought was white too until I held a white piece of paper next to it. I eventually fitted a black one though.

Yes, this happened on my 2018 AP mustang, the first (and only) USA made Fender I’d bought. The prices being what they are now, I can’t see myself buying new Fenders anymore. It’s taught me to be happy with the gear I have and know inside out.

My American Performer Mustang came with a normal long scale gig bag. Strange when Fender has short scale bags available. Have since bought the short scale bag and can confirm it fits.

Great review, I have one of those too I picked up 2nd hand. I use it in the living room to play along with YouTube clips on the TV. Wouldn’t keep up with bands I’ve been in unfortunately.
