I will say that probably the saddest show I've seen in my entire life was an afternoon metal show. It wasn't sad because it was in the afternoon but it was absolutely a contributor. I think I'm just scarred by that.

I've got a couple dozen overdrive/distortion/fuzzes here and hilariously the one I keep going back to on both guitar and bass as an always on pedal is the TC electronic mojomojo which is frankly one of the cheapest pedals I own. it just goes with everything.

I like the pink in theory but the photo makes it almost look more like slightly pink beige so I'd have to see other photos/in person to tell. but overall pretty good colors. the sea breeze is also nice.

I actually really want one of the little ones but I swore off buying EHX pedals after 3 dead muffs in a 10 year span. the big box ones were made by JHS and whether you like the man or not they make really reliable pedals. just need to tell myself that octave dirt boxes really aren't hard to come by

most of the times I've heard this it was on gear demos and frankly if you're doing a gear review and only slapping you probably deserve to get complained at unless the product is a slapbox 3000 or something

I would actually strongly suggest against trying upgrade to a MIM fender from a squier, you'd BARELY be seeing any actual hardware upgrades and the rest of the price difference is the logo. you'll probably only start seeing meaningful upgrades in the american pro line or even going to something...

it's cool but for practical purposes I don't think it's really significantly different from something like the tech21 2112 pedal which runs a parallel low pass channel and a distorted high pass channel, and that works on any bass. for non-practical purposes it's a lot of fun.
