Brought home a new friend.

I went to my local GC on Friday. They had one of the new Little Mark 58R heads, which it took they guy a while to find. They also had a few of the new line of combos and a few of the new cabs. Definitely had the 410 and 115 pure cuz I tried them. But overall it's pretty much all entry/mid level...

Thanks for this, I’m trying to understand the ways in which these differ. From that statement, I’d probably prefer the ref II. Any one have anything else to add to differentiate these two? :)

Well my timing is impeccable. My BA12-3 SLT arrived Monday, My BA12-3 STR arrives tomorrow.

Well my new cab arrived today, but it’ll be a few more days before the Magellan gets here. For now I tried it with the head from my Markbass combo and I’m already impressed. Can’t wait for the head to get here. :)

Nice! I’m trying to figure out the difference between the Pure and Energy versions, but I’m looking to get a 4X10 myself (or maybe a 115 and 210). Glad to hear you like it! I find their product line confusing at times. :laugh:

The D2 cab does look interesting to me as I'm one of those who have bypassed the crossover and tweeter in my 121P because I didn't care for the piezo tweeter. However, I can't seem to find any first hand reviews/impressions/etc of the new NY121 D2. Anybody have any experience with it?

I went by the local GC the other day for an amp stand and strings and I saw this guy up on the wall on clearance for a great price. I played if for a bit and really loved it but went home as planned with my accessories. But I couldn't stop thinking about it, so I popped by on my way home and...

Does this model have a hex nut for truss rod adjustment or the screw at the heel that some of the vintage and originals have? I'm wondering if it's a "neck off" truss adjustment on this or not.
