    Bass Destruction, Then Restoration Project.

It would definitely be hard to keep the neighborhood kids off your Emo lawn.

    Fender CS LOTTO Telecaster Bass

It looks like a $6000 dollar fender T-40 to me.

Confession Time: Admit How You Are Different From The Bass Player Norm

I guess I'm a little different because guitar is my primary instrument and I'm pretty good at it but I couldn't find enough work to pay my bills so I picked up a bass for 250 and an amp for 100 and responded to some bass ads on CraigsList. Also I don't like any expensive basses. Thankfully I...

    Heavy Basses?

    I concur. My brother's Tribute L2500 is a beast.

The Official Short Scale Bass Club -- Part 2

I know someone fixing up a bass like that. I wondered if it was really a bass or a Tenor guitar. I guess it is a bass.

Are you supposed to use your pinky?

Maybe your action is too high or maybe you can get lighter gauge strings for your bass. Get going with easier to play strings and put the old set back on when you've built up some strength. It worked for me. It sucks starting out with badly set up stuff. That's my 2 cents.

    Flying to WV w/bass

I just got some info that we'll definitely be in Bluefield at Mitchell Stadium. Should be a good time. We're backing up a few impersonators. On another note, I'm giving my bass to the singer to bring up since he is driving. That will save me some headache of bringing my bass on a plane.

    Doublenecks

I've always liked the Old Danelectro Double neck 6/4 since I saw Nigel Tufnel use one in the video for "Listen To The Flower People". YouTube - Spinal Tap-Listen to the Flower people

    Flying to WV w/bass

I don't know if this changes anything but its not a direct flight. We have a layover in NC. I'm a little more concerned about them losing my bass then damaging. I was jumping on the old injection molded peavey case today to see if it'd hold up and it seems sturdy.

    Flying to WV w/bass

I'm not sure but i'm going to say Bluefield because thats where Gretchen Wilson is playing and she is suppose to be Headlining this shindig. But again, I'm not positive. We fly into Charleston for what its worth. It's my first time going to West Virginia so I don't know much.

    Flying to WV w/bass

I'm flying out of Orlando to WV for a country gig. I'm wondering if anyone has any comforting stories or tips about checking a bass as luggage. I got an old Peavey Foundation with the original case. Anyone think it would survive baggage handlers? I got it specifically because its a solid sturdy...

    NBD!

My brother had a Peavey T-40. That is why I was intrigued by this bass. His T-40 was killer. My dad's first bass was a T-40. He got it so he could be like Chris Squire. I'm not sure how he figured but he has great stories about walking 5 miles in the snow with that heavy thing. You know the Five...

It was the orlando lee rd samash. My uncle lives near there so we always go to the music stores when I come up. If this was your bass, could you tell me if the knobs are original. The bridge pickup volume knob looks different than the neck volume and tone.
