    Basses are like screwdrivers, size type each having been made for a specific job. I never throw away a good screwdriver.

    Black Nylon Flatwounds GHS Test (on a Jazz Bass) - YouTube GHS coated round wounds on the video. I personally use Rotosound flat nylon, they sound like flats. Hope this helps.

    Every drummer I ever worked with cant hear something due to the symbols and drums washing out everything and some hearing loss, Including floor or side fill monitors. Solution for us has always been cans, or in ear monitor for the drummer. That always made most of them happy.
