I'd go for the '54 P bass, but only because I've already got a 4003 and have no interest in the others. My Squier CV 50s P bass gets me in the neighborhood, but it would be way cool to have that '54.
Considering the fact that he chooses to call himself "Social Leper," I wouldn't expect a lot of positivity from him. Respect is earned. If you aren't getting any, you aren't demanding any.
I always loved both of those songs. I'll have to search for the rest of this show. I wonder if they did "Plaster Caster." Most of my favorite Gene tunes were the lesser known ones.
Overall cool looking bass, I like it. If I pay too much attention to the pickguard though, it does look kinda butt. That shape is just awkward looking. On the other hand, that Jazz is beautiful. I'd bang that like a rusty screen door.
That's a really cool looking bass. I'm not too familiar with these. Is that a trench running vertically from the neck to the neck pick-up for truss rod adjustment, or just a weird shadow?
