I had a Rumble 200 that died one day. Turned it on, it was dead. I took to an authorized repair place. They sent a estimate to Fender. Since the repair was over $15.00,Fender sent them a one. I'm happy !!

Small Saturday nite gig. Bassman500 over a Rumble 2-10 cabinet. Keepin' it light !

MY Rumble 200 Combo died after 4 months . Still waiting for a determination on what Fender will do about it.

I recently found the tone I've been looking for for last few years. Installed and old Gibson "mudbucker" from an EBO in the neck position on my P-Bass. In the next couple of weeks I'll also install a "mudbucker" in the neck position on my Ric 4003s.

Waiting for Ampeg to come out with a 610 Neo cabinet. Will it ever happen? I've got a Fender 610 Neo that I love, but it doesn't match all my Ampeg gear !!

I've played bass for over 40 years. I don't play slap-crap or anything resembling that style. I've played hundreds of amps thru all kinds of speaker combinations. I like the new "neo" speakers. I'd already have an Ampeg 610 Neo cab if they made one.

I used the Fender 9050ML's for many years but after Fender changed manufacturers I had tone issues. After trying a few different brands I settled om TI Flats 344's. Now these strings are on all of my P-Basses, my 4003s, and my EB-3.

I have used a Samson Wireless ( the little bug type) for at least 10 years. I just this month replaced it with a new one that uses a legal freq. I never had any battery life problems, but I put in a new battery in the bug before every practice and every gig.. The base unit uses a 12v adapter.

I just pulled my bass out of storage. Trying to identify the strings. Based on this thread they are probably TI's or GHS. The strings on the bass are flats and all of them have gold end balls with have bright red silk on both ends. Probably 105-045's. I could sure some help identifying...

I used it for parts to build a better/lighter bass.

I like a light bass. I purchased a pawlownia wood p-bass body from Guitar Mill. It weighted no more than 2 lbs. It's light like balsa wood. With a Jazz bass neck it weights under 5 lbs. It's a little neck heavy but that is fixed by using a suede strap. The body is also painted Surf green.

Too many knobs!! Keep it simple. I'll stick with my '65 and '67 Showman heads.
