i know that expensive isn't always the best but I love my Moody strap :) the leather is so soft and the craftsmanship is top notch

I use this system as well on bigger stages. It works well and the range is fantastic. I can't hear any difference between cable/wireless with the X2

I hadn't seen this mentioned but I use a nice cable that has a built in mute switch. What do the rest of you TB'rs think of this? I also have a floor tuner that I can hit if I'm extra paranoid. So far the cable works really well... I just need to remember to flick the switch again or else there...

I just have to weigh in. When I purchased my new bass I saw the moody strap hanging on the wall. I asked myself... is it really ok to spend 150 bucks on a strap? I then tried it on and it felt amazing. Sure enough, if you are going to spend the money on a bass you should spring for the strap IMHO.

Hi guys, Does anyone know the bass player Jeff Allen? He played for Duncan Sheik's earlier band. I know this is kindof obscure but I was wondering if anyone knew his website/side projects. I've had trouble tracking him down.

I just want to say that Ableton Live is definitely a high quality product and easy to use. You can download free trials that come with excellent tutorials to get you up and running. We've already used it and it couldn't be easier. 2cents

anyone else using an avalon u5? I am getting a great sound out of my stingray 5. So far i'm using this combination: 1. stingray -> avalon -> compressor -> house (then a send from the preamp to my ampeg for monitor any suggestions on another way to hook up?

Without doubt 46 and 2 rips so hard it blasts the paint off walls! There is no denying the seductive bass line that wraps the song in momentum. my two cents
