Hey all, I was wondering what a fairly priced recorded for just recording bass (just myself and maybe some vocals) would cost. Basically just for practice use. Any info on cheaper equipment for this kind of recording? Thanks

Less than 40? Dude you on drugs? It isn't gonna ever be that low, it will cost you at least 300 for a small not all that bad one.

Les is a damn talented bassist, voice wise not good but bass damn good, very creative lines, and various styles. He is one of my all-time favs next to steve harris.

STEVE HARRIS!! He is always trying his hardest out there, and he doesn't use a pick, he uses his fingers. His originality is great. I love the clicking noise he has, with his speed it sounds like a machine gun.

Stu is GOD!! He is sooo damn good! He has some of the most original ideas today. His tapping technique is soo good too. I love his work and just can't seem to get enough of it. OutBound his latest album rocks!

Ok, I hve a SoundGear and I love it to death, the ergodyne are ok but they aren't as versatile as a Soundgear. But the thing about Ibanez's are they are very good for there price, and with the money you have you should check out fenders, they are the best there is for around $1000.
