Me too. But I did have a bb3000 MA Michael Anthony signature model stolen from me. The higher end one with the set neck and the Chili Pepper inlays on the frets and his signature on the headstock. I miss that things and have been uanle to locate another. They must be more rare than I thought.

No it does not. ibanez put stickers with the serial numbers on them back in the 80's or for this particular model, not sure which. The sticker has been removed. The neck was left untouched when it was re painted.

I think I m going to get me an SX jazz bass soon. I 'm not a fan of fender basses at all. So If I don't like this bass then I am not out the bucks i would be shelling out for a MIM fender jazz. it makes more sense to get an SX.

I have always used either Ernie Balls, GHS Boomers or D'addario. But I noticed that after a short time they go dull and shount lke garbage. I am looking for a good string that keeps that nice bright fresh out of the package sound longer than a few days. What do you recommend?

I had a jazz once. I ended up selling it. Sometimes, I GAS for a Geddy Lee jazz. But I just don't dig the jazz sound. If I get a Geddy Lee I will just end up selling it or trading it for something else. To each his own.
