    Converting 32" scale to 34"

Because the length between the 12th fret and the end of the fretboard will be longer on the 34" neck than on the 32" neck, so part of the 1" difference is already there... (the 12th fret is already moved away from the body, if you will...)

Formica, wallpaper, and other kitschy tops

As already stated, drum wrap has been in use for a long time on Gretsch jets

    What does "CV" stand for?

Actually, we call it curriculum vitae... YOU call it a résumé! (Which is indeed a french word...)

It’s everything I imagined, and then some... mentioned it on FB, and here’s what Sheldon had to say about it:

    Dingwall Owners Club

On board (again) : just bought a super P! I love my NG2, but it’s probably sounding a bit more edgy/modern than what most of what I play asks for... so I’ve been drooling over super P pics for quite some time now, and stumbled upon this one, that’s at home since last week:

    To ALL working bass players...

Seems to me, if you're a PRO, you should not be competing with music students and week-end warriors for the same gigs... If -as a PRO- you're stuck doing bar gigs that appeal to hobbyists, maybe you should reconsider your carreer. Sounds harsh (like the OP) maybe, but a pro should do a lot more...
