    The Pedulla Club!

I bought a 2011 case queen Rapture 4. I think the strings were the originals. I tried to restring it with Ernie Ball Cobalt 2734s. I snapped two E (100) strings where the taper starts to wind onto the tuner. I use these same strings on a ThunderBass and a ThunderBolt. It seems that the...

I don't recall the socket size, but it's slightly smaller than the Gibson. The replacement Home Depot nut is 5/16", but that's a bit bigger. Pedulla never used a pull knob, but there are plenty of Bartolini and other retrofits. My '89 MVP has a retrofit Bartolini pull, but no LED. What did...

    The Pedulla Club!

In 1988, Pedulla used the Gibson style single action. Don't use the Gibson tool though. My nut eventually stripped out and I had to use a regular brass 5/16" nut. The replacement Gibson nut is the wrong thread. I'm not sure what the LED does without a switch accompanying it. In earlier...

That's a Series II - they had their own numbering. 0220 is a 1990. Series III were originally made with Japanese necks from 88 to 91. They were numbered from 0001 - 0480. Pedulla made some Series II towards 1993 that used the regular numbers, so they are in the 3xxx range.

Mike's plan was to import the Series II necks from Japan. I'm not sure if he went through with that, nor is later necks were made there. The listing says Japanese "Model", not "Made in". Many companies would make targeted exports of select products.

    The Pedulla Club!

Missing, stolen or fraud sale: On September 1, 2023, I bought MVP-5 #2937 on eBay. It was listed for sale in Burlington, VT. Suspiciously, something was shipped from Seoul, South Korea to my address in Massachusetts. It tracked into Newark, NJ on September 19, then stopped. USPS is unable...

Thank you for the history lesson. Very interesting. This all makes perfect sense. Mine is 38xx, but solid red instead of a nicer woodgrain. I do follow the Pedulla line closely, but haven't seen another Series II with a regular serial number. I'll keep my eyes out now.

    The Pedulla Club!

When the guy first listed it, he wanted $1700 with no haggle because he believes all Pedullas are worth 3500. I offered $1000 and would be there in an hour - I live in the next town from him. Before he moved on the price weeks later, I bought an interesting Series II that I believe was a...
