It's the interwebs that tell you you need another pedal. You obviously don't need it to fill a gap you are experiencing. IMO.

Off course fans are no problem live... I was talking bedroom... In my humble opinion it's a big con, because the amp doesn't need a fan at those volume levels.

I love black Ps with a black PG and white Ps with a white PG.

I use one cab with a tweet and one without (112s), the tweeter attenuator is set halfway up, highs are slightly backed of with the EQ. Love it adding some glassyness to the tone. And I don't even think it sounds bad with distortion, although I don't use a lot and I don't add redicoulous amounts...

Also, the adapter doesn't convert AC to DC, that's the whole point of the power supply (besides stepping down from 120 volt).

Started with a MIM P and a Line 6 Studio 110 amp, until it broke by playing it too loud with my band. Bought a Terror Bass and 2 Aguilar GS112 cabs, a Turbo Tuner and recently a Xotic Bass BB Preamp and haven't look back, it owns everything music stores have in stock. Imo.

You can better short-circuit a tube amps outputs (impedance = 0 ohm) than to run it without a load (impedance = infinite). Best thing is to match amplifier and cabs obviously, but between the two evils you did the least harmful for your amp, so don't worry.

Perfectly possible if you keep the gain low, distorted sounds at bedroom levels are not that easy. The fan noise is a con though...

Yeah, those dano pedals are copies of boutique pedals anyway.
