    Guild Pilot bass club?

Sure, here’s 2 of just aluminum and then 2 with a wood veneer epoxied to it, one with a logo CNCed into it exposing the aluminum.

    Mystery Bass ID

Tobias employees over the years have sometimes been given the chance to do their own thing. There’s a non zero chance this could be one.

    2005 Fender Dimension V - 5 String P/J Bass

This suggests it's not shielded or shielded properly. If the noise goes away when you touch the strings it is definitely not being caused by a non humbucking Jazz pickup as that is a classic example of lack of shielding.

Advice needed with ordering a Fender Custom Shop P-Bass with J-neck

Ignoring what you asked for specifically :) I would buy a used Yamaha BB414 and open a ROTH IRA. Another of many options is a Tokai Hard Puncher which most people will think is a Fender and Tokai even made real Fenders for a while.

    Modifying a Stingray???

Adding a neck pickup is a great addition to any Stingray/Stingray clone. Especially if your goal is to make music as opposed to selling the bass. There's a mega thread here somewhere with dozens of successful builds. Here is my personal journey with the MM in traditional placement and the P very...

What color pickguard would work best for my Pbass?

Black 3 ply BWB has always been a favorite of mine on black/rosewood Fenders.

    Piccolo Bass Club!!

A broken magnet shouldn't change the magnetic field unless there is a piece missing. You don't have to change magnets to test this you can just add another "magnetically" and the strength will go up. A possible issue could be a short in the coils somewhere that is effectively reducing the...

Would this grain mismatch bother you?

I want to point out this is not a 1 piece body as some are starting to say. It simply has a pattern that is similar to how a 1 piece looks.

Would this grain mismatch bother you?

That's what 1 piece bodies often look like. I've seen worse. https://www.fender.com/cdn-cgi/image/format=png/https://www.fmicassets.com/Damroot/ZoomJpg/10013/0149042303_fen_ins_cbr_1_nr.jpg

Charvels multi scale 5 string prototype bass

I don't really see Dingwall. I see a Fender embracing a current trend. And since it looks like a weird Fender and not something completely new it will likely reach a bigger market historically shy of the unfamiliar.

Squier jazz bass VI quickly becoming my favorite bass

If it sells well they likely will. I'd suspect they have already discussed it and may even have one in the works for the near future. Sire or other smaller company might be in a better position to do this as they could pop in a 6 in most of their lines. I also think that Fender making it look...
