Never played a 928... But major GAS there.

All I can say is his sound is NASTY!! I love it... Last time I saw him in a small club (<1000) he played 2 or 3 stacks... ( they were back to a 3-piece at that time )... And all the sound was coming from the stage... I think it was the Dio tour... Amazing!!

I was just in a band doing a half step up from that C#/G#/C#/F# and had great luck with my SUB Sterling (34") with Dunlop's Heavy's 50-110.

I saw one of those Classic 400 / 8x10 stacks in tweed a number of years ago, and I thought it looked ( and sounded sweet ). Another amp that should've never been discontinued.

I've been wanting to check this one out as well, I've used the 163X in my rack for years... Right now I'm using the OptoStomp with my combo's and/or head's (non-rack)...
