In rounds I prefer DR Low Riders. Nice balanced tone on the Jazz with some real chime on the note if you give 'em a whack. In flats possibly D'Addario chromes, mind you I've yet to find a set of flats that get the most outta my Jazz

I'd suggest an MI Audio compressor. Australian made, amazing transperant and effective compressor. Heaps of options too: input trim, built in noise gate, oh and the things built like a horrible mustard green tank. Never turn mine off :)

Thanks man. Amazing to think that such a compact setup can keep up with something like a Beck gig. Have you found much diffrence in the mids between the DB and SL's for your liking? Being the fan of banging mids that you are, I guess either way they are cutting the mustard!
