Well my bass cab is a 4 ohm Peavey 115 EX rated at 250 watts. There is no horn in this cabinet. The problem is that my Tour 700 head pushes 700 watts into 4 ohm and 500 watts into 8 ohm. So instead of waiting for the speaker to fry some night I am thinking of putting in the Kappalite 3015...

I have small hands and the switch from a Precision neck to a Jazz neck was like night and day. A Jazz style neck works great. My Peavey 34" scale 4-string BXP once set up is comfortable all night long. I am uncomfortable with the 35" scale basses as well. I prefer 4-strings over 5-strings...

I bought a BXP 4 that has replaced my P-Bass as my main bass. After I set up the action with my choice of strings it is sweet. I get a compliment on my tone at every gig. No one knows that mine was made in China. A great bass. Have fun, Wayne

Peavey Shefield Pro1500+ has a broader freq range than the black widow, costs less and replaced the BW in many of their cabs. When I called Peavey they said they liked the sound better is some of the cabs. Have fun, Wayne

Rotos or Cleartones or (?) in 40-60-80-100. They are good on the neck and your hands. You can eq your amp for low end. I never had anybody complain about low end using that guage. I play a P-Bass and a Peavey Cirrus. Have fun, Wayne
