Extremely low frequency cabinets / drivers? 20hz?

Haven't been paying too much attention for 10 years, started playing my E0 tuned Quake again, what's the current state of the art for ulta low frequency cabinets? I have the Accugroove El Whappo Grande 21", and I see the Pyle 21" driver is still made (both rated to 22hz), what's out there that's rated down to 20hz or below?

I'd expect that you are looking for something that is a futile effort. Most eq "out" those frequencies with high pass filtering. Many stop their power amps at 50 for the subs.
Bear in mind what your "hearing" from a note that low is the harmonics not the fundamental.
Cabs that extend that low are able to do it but without much efficiency due you the amount of power to produce that low of a note at a reasonable volume.

To what end? Realistically speaking you won't find a manufactured bass guitar cab that will do it. Car subs or design your own is all I could suggest. Chances are like the post above said, any bass amp or power amp will likely have an HPF built in to PREVENT frequencies that low from going to the speakers. You can rattle brains loose with a true 40 Hz at decent volume.

Please elaborate? I remember in the old days a bass player friend of mine used an SVT with a Cerwin-Vega Earthquake cabinet. If that'a not correct someone please tell me. It was a "Half-folded horn" cab, in that it only had one horn on top and the speaker mounted towards the bottom. It was compact but weighed a ton. Two guys to lift it to the stage. But when he played, especially when he turned it up, you could feel the bass in your shoes across the room! :)

OOPS forgot to make my point. If you do have a CV Quake already, I think you're nearly there. It now is up to you to provied the power to push that cab.

What do you see using to achieve that low end thunder? Maybe something with at least 1,000 watts?

Try standing in front of an El Whappo Grande at 20 hz. :D Yes, what the ears hear is primarily overtones, but having the body feel the rest in harmony is interesting. I'm now wondering if all I need really is a crossover and a compensator, along the lines of: subwoofer equalizer, bass correction equalizer, bass boost I mean, that's all Bag End's magic really is, other than the sealed tuned box, right? Is their "infra integrator" really anything more than a crossover, heavy low frequency eq, and an amp?

Basically, I'm wanting to separate out the ultra lows, maybe draw the line at 60hz, and send everything below to the 21", with frequencies below 40hz boosted to compensate. Power isn't really the issue, I have more than enough amplification, this is a much for my own satisfaction as anything else. That is, not building a gigging rig.

Oh, yeah! Those CV folded horn cabs are indeed awesome! Always wanted a set back in my arena rock wannabe days (thankfully, very long ago). But not really for the ultra low frequencies, they would have to be huge.

Two CV's and two SVT's! And two big husky roadies! LOL.

Nowadays I hardly think they can afford bands let alone roadies.....

There are also various project pages I've found where folks independently recreate the Bag End / ELF approaches with impressive results. As a long term project, I may follow one of those designs, but apply it to the 21" Pyle driver and build a cab around it. Some examples:

Worth bearing in mind that the claims for the El Whappo were bunk, and they were never capable of the bass output published. Accugroove were far from alone in optimistic specs for their speakers, but it does point up that want you think you want may actually be different to what you really want.
