I've a 5/8 flat back Bohemian w/removable neck in process. I'm a short stack at 5'7 so after speaking with Gary we both agreed the slightly small size would work for me well. I'll keep my current bass and also considered setting it up for arco as well. Its good to have more than one bass!

I was eyeballing the red diamonds but in other threads its been mentioned that they are higher tension than pain gut. I figured they would be difficult to slap on but can't really say.

EP slaps are not bad strings at all, but they have don't have the dynamic range of gut or the airiness. Again, they are excellent strings, but I always revert back to gut after a while. Been considering a more premium brand as I have an Upton being built and am considering what I want it set up...

The 800 does not have a pad button and the board input was turned down all the way. Crazy stuff.

Been gigging my Legacy 800 head and keep running into an issue. The output on the DI is so hot its clipping the mixer. I don't see a way to adjust the line out level. Unless I'm missing something here. Been having to add a DI pedal to my pedalboard. None of my preamp/DI pedals are clipping...

Just got a JmJ in last week and I'm pondering the same thing. In this YouTube clip I liked the rounds better than the Fender flats. I've got a set of Chromes and a set of EXL rounds on the way to test out.

My C bass showed up a day early. I popped on the E string out of the TI "short scale" set and strung it through the body. Worked out well!

I love my 610 Fender Neo cab. Has wheels and is easy to move and load. Do I always need that much? No but it feels and sounds sooo good.
