I finally have decided to move my strap button onto the neck plate of my Epi T.
Do I loosen string tension and just go for it-or are there other things I should have on hand?(Longer screw?..etc.)
Thanks
The School's Out album has some of the most juiced bass lines ever, running through them, DD put the freak in the Alice Cooper BAND. Billion $ Babies, is a good album, yet sounds un-inspired (read; musical creativity was forced to the back seat for the megalomaniacal visual aspect of the Alice...
There's far more funk in the empty spaces of phrases, than ones that are crowded with too many notes.
You can't go wrong by absorbing all the James Brown you can.
A strong "one" nails the beat square to the floor, it's up to you and your creativity to fill in the rest.
Booker T & The MG's "Melting Pot"
This is their most original album, very dynamic, and showcases the MG's (Cropper included) versatility, and lock tight grip on rhythm.
The Motown/Stax legacies....something to be said about the "house band" era, no doubt.
"Melting Pot" seems to bridge...
Are there any manufacturers of cases, that will actually fit a T-bird?
And or is it easy/wise to refit one that is long enough, yet doesn't have bird shape?
and there is a new Johnny Winter And ...Live coming out this month that was recorded about a month prior to the original, supposed to smoke, and It kicks off with "Guess I'll Go Away". Cannot live without it.

I don't get any buzz if I use the on-board effects, any effect pedal (guitar or bass) will buzz especially when I take my fingers off the strings. I have changed cables to no avail. I imagine the hard drive has something to do with it, I've had pedals in another room and still does it. It's...
I get signal interference (buzzing) when I record into my BR1200 with any sort of effect pedal plugged in. Would a noise suppressor take care of this, or shielding my instruments?
No matter what type of rebellion is being sold, we've seen it all-long before MTV appeared. Great music is in the ears of the beholder, no matter what the uniform.
Fenders basses, and Ampeg SVTs stood the test of time because they took a licking and kept on ticking. We have so much variety...
Roll your treble back at least half way is start.
A consistent clack sounds tough and will cut through the mix well.
Uneven fingering makes it sound "ghosty" and disjointed.
Best rock bassist I've seen, hands down was Frankie Bello from Anthrax.
Rock solid, great sound, and TIGHT.
Jumping all over and not missing a beat.

The Misfits were a wreck live- Danzig was smart to walk away.
