I can't believe 90% of the people in this country that get press coverage, these days it seems the less substantial or shallow you are, the more coverage you get.;)

their actions make perfect sense all of a sudden, but it still makes me want to turn the firehose on 'em. (assuming Zack and his motorcycle are already booked somewhere else.)

I've seen them under a bunch of names, but the most common ones are Patriot Riders or the Patriot Honor Guard.

Back before the Iraq war, Phred used to content himself with only attempting to desecrate the funerals of guys like Matthew Shepherd.

Anyone that would protest at a Veterens Funeral ,should afterwards thank the soilder for preserving the right for them to protest . what an irony.

Strong arm is not what the Patriot Guard are about. They are there to support the family of the fallen Warrior. And make sure his honor is not spoiled by others . Most are Vets themself and understand it better then most.

This is America and we all share the same rights . Dont have to like it , but i sure hope it stays that way .

Protesters will always be around as long as we remain free. Protest back if you feel strongly opposed to something. I'am and old Vet and i would be delighted to fight for Your right to protest ,anytime

A lot of the clubs share the same patriotism, clubs tend to be based on a military foundation and alot of bikers are Vets. Strong arm is a poor choice of words ,but its your right

ill just say this again.. zakk wylde.. motorcycle.. show these punk-asses whos boss. im sure there are people that would gladly go down for assault for such an occasion.

i dont care if they are burying charles manson, even HE has a right to a private, peaceful funeral.

On a realistic note, the WBC faithful should be quite careful and think twice about showing up at RJD's funeral. I imagine it will be really well attended, and pissed-off metalheads are not known for keeping their cool or being respectful. Everything I have read, seen on TV, or heard about Ronnie James Dio has said that he is the nicest, most down to earth guy in rock. About a year ago, "That Metal Show" named him the 'Nicest Guy In Rock". There are far too many jerks in music, and not enough Ronnie James Dio's.
