WBC crashing Dio's funeral

And you wonder why people get sick of "religion" and especially "Christians". Go away. Leave everyone in the US alone. Do something with and for YOURSELF. Embrace freedom before it's gone. DIO didn't show up in your church did he? Hail the Rebellion of Satan. Better to reign than serve. Lots of lessons abound. DIO got a lot of flak for his lyrics, but there is a lot of wisdom these people could learn from.

heres an idea....go to the funeral, play some dio on a very nice sound system, and start to mosh, but those picketing crazed religion nuts just happen to be in the way. let them feel the unrelenting fury of fans of the music of satan!

This is sad. WBC protested a funeral in my hometiwn a few years ago, and were basically chased out of town. The crowd there destroyed the police vehicle removing those idiots on the way out.

Dio deserves better than this.

For the record, I am a Christian, and NEVER once would I consider doing something so insensitive and heartless. Nothing is proven by picketing a freakin' funeral, other than proving that you're a moron.

I'd say they're a bunch of in-bred mentally unstable members of a family cult they call a religion. Mercy and forgiveness are two of the greatest virtues of Christianity and WBC represent absolutely zero of neither. True belief comes from within and it has nothing to do with hate or violence of any kind. If I was Christian I'd say WBC are among the first to be sent to burn in Hell.

Yea, these people protest at funerals for fallen soldiers here in Michigan.
These people are just total DB's. Here in Mich. there is a motorcycle club that lines the funeral procession that blocks these people so the family doesn't have to see them.

Thanks to the OP for posting this.
I forget how horrible some humans can be using God as the reason to perform hideous, narcisitic, acts. I can't imagine any reason that would be accetpable to protest a soldier or musicians funeral.
Didin't follow much metal back in the day and didn't know much about RJD until I saw him a few months ago on That Metal Show (don't know when it was filmed).
He seemed like a really good guy that was a humble musician.
Hope that the funeral goes as well as can be expected for his family and God speed to Mr. Dio.

um...hated God. He hd accepted Christ as a child, and even received last rites from a priest and received absolution on Saturday. He was a kind and gracious man to everyone he met, including Ozzy. He, nor his family deserve this. I am a practicing Christian, and I find these people repulsive. Please do not judge my faith in Jesus Christ by these people. They do not reflect the loving, compassionate, and gracious God that I worship.
