Stoked on this bass. Ordered it to have another bass tuned to drop C. CGCF. Ocean torquoise jazz with tort PG. C to D neck and noiseless pickups. Installed a Hipshot bridge as soon I recieved the bass. The pics don't capture the Ocean Torquoise well. It has more of a green tint to it. Love it...

Just ordered a Mod Shop Jazz lastnight. Spoke to someone at Fender today who said it can take about 30 days until I'll get my bass. How long did anyone who ordered one actually wait? Just curious because I have a show Nov 3rd I wanted this bass for.

I've never had the need or the desire to play anything more than a 4 string. Played in a heavy band where I tuned down my 4 to CGCF. Anyone else never step into 5 and beyond??

Arrived a few days ago after ordering it in March. '64 CS Jazz Seafoam Green over Fiesta Red heavy Relic. Plays AMAZING. Hard to put it down or not stare at. I'm defintely infatuated. :D

Very nice bass for $300 IMO. Only played it unplugged for a few mins but feels good. Neck is nice, one thing I have to get used to is the notes are actually on the fret lines not between the frets.

I just have always played bass. Never got into much theory besides guitar class in high school (why not?) or who plays what, where and who played on this or that. I've never taken a lesson in my life. I basically learned to play bass by listening to music pressing play and rewind on my boombox...

Have been diggin' this bass online for a week or so and finally made the trek to check it out this morning. It's a '97 Fender Jazz American STD in Daphne Blue. Can't believe how clean it is. Not a dent or scratch to be found. Very happy today...:)
