I understand what bi amping is. the highs and upper mids I will send to a 4x10 goliath 2. but the lows.... Would it be better to run the lows through a 4x10, or a 1x18? 1. What would the sound differences between the 4x10 and 1x18 be? 2. What would sound better? 3. If the 1x18 sounds...

Thanks for the comment, but the purpose of this is to take a dilapidated, destroyed bass, and refurbish it back to new. not to build a bass. I will video tape the dragging in a day or so, and post the vid here, or on a youtube link. Also, I have always wanted to try destroying a bass...

Ok!!! First damage assessment, and things went great today. I am going to make this bass worse and worse over the corse of a few months. After that, I will start refurbishing this bass. Tools used: Wood saw, Steel wool, Sand paper, Channel locks, Allen wrenches to scratch and gouge, Rocks...

It isn't playing technique. i have played at all positions and played light, or hard, and everywhere in between.

The E A D strings on the entire neck have that "mwah" sound, but the G doesn't have that. No matter how I play... Is there any way I can get the G string to have that "mwah"?
