Yep about the same. The amp I have, i think, is 10 watts. I know the 12/6 eats it up.

I bought an air stapler. Didn't use it on the 12/6 but I can say it will hold better than brads...great little gun to have for any wood working. Wish I had it when building the cab.

Other projects, one in particular, could use the cash. But I just can't at this point in time...maybe if someone splashed cash in front of me, but the cab sounds so good, even using the 15w amp ... :>)

After concidering selling the completed but not "finished" 12/6, I decided to finish the cabinet with stain, grill, etc. I just hate to get rid of it. Some pics. One more coat of poly when the weather wams but one coat looks good at this point. Per plans 12/6 fEarful.

take a piece of tape (clear tape) wrap it around your index finger so the sticky side is out, and gently put your finger with the tape on the dented dust cap. Quickly pull of your finger. Rrepeat as necessary. Worked great for me on many speakers.

What is to much noise when engaging this pedal? Passive bass, level at 9:00, character at 12:00, drive 10:00, other nobs set at 12:00, except high at 8:00. sounds as if I've at least doubled my "static" noise coming out of the speaker when I engage the pedal. I thought some noise, but jeezzz...

Which corners are you guys placing on the 12/6 cab. Small or large "stacking"? I would think the large, for 3/4" wood, would look a bit big with the amount of overhang on the front.

Bought the same board from Parts Express...with the 5-7 cup should make a nice xover assembly. Waiting for the last of the damping to dry (glued it in) then will glue the top and its wait for the xover parts...

I'm going on a little over 4 weeks for crossover parts (inductor) for my 12/6 build. Cabinet ready but no crossover. Took 1 week to send me a response on each of 2 email. Chris did say my order has shipped, so this week hopefully.

As a sax player moving to bass...a sax is a sax. The most difficult for me has been the conversion to bass clef from treble. I played sax a LONG time and allnotes are moved down one space/line in bass. Difficult to get the old brain converted. Bass and contra saxes to saprano are available...

Similar in design to many compression horns used for large PA systems designed for very high SPL. The 4 drivers are positioned to converge and compress/project the sound field. something like that...I can't remember the terminology of the design.
