For sale Aguilar DB 750 bass head (db750 db751 db 751)

I have a Aguilar DB 750 head up for grabs. It's the predecessor to the DB 751. This amp has a tube preamp section and in excellent condition. Incredible tone and loads of power. I've owned many Aguilar products and they have all been great, the warmth I get out of this hard to find elsewhere...

Help: 1973 Fender P Bass with "SPECIAL" stamped on the neck - looking for info

Happy with the purchase. It needed some love but I got her tuned and cleaned up and she plays great. So far the best theory on why it is stamped special is that it is a "A" neck meaning and tighter nut width which was apparently pretty uncommon at the time and likely the reason for the stamp.

Help: 1973 Fender P Bass with "SPECIAL" stamped on the neck - looking for info

I just picked up what I believe to be a 1973 Fender Mocha P Bass (neck plate dates to 1973). The bass needed some love so I took it apart to clean and set up. I took the neck off and it has a stamp "special 52/999" on the neck. It also has a unique pickguard that is part plastic and metal at...
