Are the Fusion and Legacy amps reliable?

I saw them on the Titan tour and they were excellent, but I have to say my favourite era was when they were with Holy Records (the cliche first three album fan) as that's what I grew up with. I hope you get to see them live with the orchestra soon!

I don't own a soldering iron and my bass has a long-barrel jack I want to keep. If I were keeping the standard jack that's included, I'd do it myself. I've thought about this already. :)

Thank you all for the suggestions and advice. I actually play my main basses in BEAD but don't gel with 5 necks. The SLO sounds perfect but it seems like they're difficult to come across, at least here. I'll keep my eye out! It's nice to know the Sterling and Stingray are close enough as well.

I just bought an American Professional with Bartolini pickups. I was tossing up between a Stingray and a Jazz, but the Jazz won out. The Stingray can wait. I hope to post pics when it arrives.

Sorry I meant the older 80s/90s Ibanez with that setup. But yes, mine is the one with the ADX5s and the Vari-mid III (Spelling?). The 885 is on board for delivery so I'll have a play and decide.

Audere will not ship to Australia unfortunately, so I'm now looking at a Bartolini, Nordstrand or John East. How tight is a tight fit with the John East?

Hahaha, they're fantastic hey? I got it dirt cheap in Australia where most gear costs a relative fortune, I think it was approx $500 USD and it's in excellent condition for something from 1986. If I won the lottery I'd send you one!
