    6 Strings Under $1000 Questions

    I had an Ibanez BTB Prestige which was excellent. I'd also highly recommend a US Cirrus 6 on the used market. Easily under a grand, and my Cirrus 6er holds it's own easily against my Roscoe SKB3006. Worth every penny and more!

    Right now, they would be my Roscoe SKB3006 and my Peavey Cirrus 6. They are both on equal ground for me, though at some point a nice fretless would be nice... I've been nearly GAS free for a few years now! An MTD is still on my "someday" list.

    Stories of regret to laugh about

    Had a guy pay me an outstanding debt with a '74 jazz bass. Pretty terrible condition... rattle can black, crappy decals and the like. Stripped off the finish and made it natural. Block inlays in the neck. Ended up trading it for a Warmoth 4 string fretless with a Lane Poor pickup. I kick myself...
