I found this bass in a pawn shop. I like the color and finish. Has a G&B 2 band EQ. The neck is a hacked Ibanez jammed in pocket. I can't find name on body. Anyone know what brand this is??

An Ebay seller has a bass he thinks from the mid-'80s that appears to be a Kay C-1 copy, extensively refinished. Its only identifying info is this partial label. Anyone seen one like this? (I think it's probably upside-down in this photo, hard to be sure.) Thanks!

It's the bass player from the Marcus King Band. Nice tone and I'm curious because it looks like an older p-bass but I've never seen one with the body and headstock in a natural finish. I guess it could be a custom finish. If you pause at 0:05 you can get a good look. Does anyone know?
