samick bass

I think it's a Samick YARBPJ, but i'm not sure. Anyone know what model, year and where it was made? I've seen Samick's around from time to time, but i'm not familiar with them. Are they any good?

Spent 40 bucks on a beat up canary yellow samick PJ bass and 25 on affinity squier pickups. Had to replace bridge pieces also and do shielding. Thanks @bass-icly me for yet another great mod. Affinity pickups are just ok. I wanna put something else in here with new pots one day

@bass-icly me switched the pickups out on my samick jazz (Greg Bennett model) Stock pickups were switched with squier 70s vibe pickups. This bass boomed before but now it booms MORE and sounds way more clear and juicy. Also it unfortunately has more static (nothing my noisegate pedal cant fix)...

What do you guys think ? I payed $240 total for this stagg jaguar copy and a short scale samick jazz bass. The samick has really deep tone for a short scale. Idk if the stagg is a jazz bass but it has more mid range than low and the only info i could find calls it the "Stagg Jaguar Jazz master"...
