¼ inch jack plugs?

never use standard RTV on electronics, the acetic acid can damage the contact plating. There are specialty products but not commonly available.

That’s useful information. I’m guilty of holding large axial capacitors in place with a couple dabs of RTV without regards to the vinegar.

If that’s true, nothing is going to help. Same for rodeo events, those who have worked these event know exactly what I mean,

I just got a new amp and I want to keep dust out of it. It's got a bunch of I/O ports, I've managed to find dust covers for XLR and 3.5mm jacks, but I can't find anything for ¼ inch jacks. Anybody know of some? Metal would be nice but plastic or other material would work if it works.
I'm using the Neutrik plugs (see post #2) and they work great. I use them on my desktop mixer which has the jacks facing up.

How much protection are you looking for? You realize if you have a fan in the amp, plugging the 1/4 jacks will only help keep the jacks clean, right? The inside of the amp will get just as dirty over time.

If your environment is that dusty — I’d worry more about your personal health than the amp’s, and get an ionizer or air purifier or facial mask. Your amp will be fine whether you plug it or not. Like people said — wipe it down from time to time — but even then, unless the gig is on Mars — this isn’t something to worry about.

I've never inspected my input jacks for dust and never thought about dust being an issue with input jacks during my 25+ years of playing indoors and outdoors and have yet to experience a problem. Unless you're in a clean room you can't escape dust.

I have never had an issue with this. As I said, putting the amp in a gig bag or case will keep dust out.
Agedhorse agrees and he knows 100% ! I've had my Shuttle 6.2 in the bag it came in since it was first on the
market and never had an issue. You can absolutely plug with something if it makes you feel better.

That's the way I'm leaning.

No, really, it wouldn't. I know the circumstances of my use of the amp. Dust would get in while I'm using it. I'm not going to spend money on a custom made cover and keep the cover on while I play. Thanks for the suggestion but no thanks, it will not work.

I've thought about how to protect the amp and the solution is to get plugs. That will work. So if you have something on topic you can suggest, please go ahead.
As others have said, dust will get in the vents or be sucked in by the fan. Unavoidable. Best you can do is keep it covered when not in use. If that bothers you, you can open it up and blow it out with compressed air. You might want to wait till the warranty is up before doing that.
