Wecome back Fretless one. I'm glad you are feeling better!
I don't have personal experience with the other cabs Ken mentioned, but Roger's ML-112 is so pleasing to my ears, I actually turned loose of my last Accugroove (Tri-112L). I sold my Shuttle 6.0 during your absence and am now almost having too much fun with the Mesa Walkabout. :D

The ml12 does look interesting...as do the Bergantino. I need to take it a bit easier on my body

There are a lot of light weight options out there. This is my 35 pound 15/6. It was formerly Ken's, and either of us can attest to how insanely light the cab is. Its a one hand carry even for my roadie.

This isnt my cab, but this is a 39 pound Greenboy Dually 215. Kick ass Faital pro woofers. It will out perform an 810 at a fraction of the weight.

I take it no one has any real love for Aguilar.

The DB112's are beautiful sounding... warm and punchy and a bit old school. Heavy though, and a strange form factor... deep (over 18") with rear ports that add another 6" or so needed from the wall.

Nice, but not in the same league as the others I mentioned.

Per my comment earlier, to your question about the new Genz cabs, the new ceramic 12's are 'great for the price', but not anywhere in the same league as these others. The new Shuttle 12 is probably the best 'ultralight' cab I've heard to date... won't knock a wall down, but at 25 pounds or so, and very small size, it is a nice one, and two would cover most gigs IMO.

I have been using TC Electronic Cabs, i have a couple 2x12Rs's and a 1x12RS, and the 1x12 sounds great IMO. its pretty small, and light, with a concentric horn to save space. I love it!

It does provide more of a vintage tone, then a clear/clean/uncoloured tone. Its a plus for me, but not for everyone.

Agreed. Absolutely love the DB112/212. I struggle to find something that I like as much, hence im still on the hunt for a lightweight solution.

I think I need to try the Shuttle Series 2 cabs...

Lightweight? 22lbs each. I've gigged a single cab, the pair will get stupid loud

Kjung, thank you. It has been a rough 2 years. I was diagnosed with type II diabetes and dropped to 148 pounds. Back to 170 so it is controlled. It is nice to be back.
Hey Dennis, sorry to hear about what you're going through--type I here, so I can relate. Glad to hear you're on the mend, and it's good to see you back on the boards. You are missed at the LOG, come over and say hello when you get a chance.:)
