Well....
I guess that explains why I play so poorly.
What's the easiest instrument to play really well? Maybe I'll switch.
Kazoo! Nobody really knows what "good kazoo" playing should sound like, so it's the player's call.

I'm not too big on Gene Simmons... And that seems to be the same with other bassists.I have one more thing bass players hate! Glenn Fricker! He hates bass players and bass players hate him!

i totally agree until you include playing upright bass. six hours a night six nights a week. that anecdote about flea and super glue isnt so "insane" really. my fingers used to look like half peeled metal bananas. but that wasnt as bad as the tendonitis...Regarding the bloody finger thing, if you're playing that hard, you're doing it wrong. There is a "terminal velocity" and any harder than that is completely pointless. Learning restraint in your playing is beneficial in all aspects, including comfort AND sound.
Playing a fretless Thunderbird is absolutely for weirdos. Every weirdo in the audience wants to check it out and talk to me every time I play it.Playing an unlined fretless...that's for weirdos and show offs.
Actually it's an impluse bass from what I hearYeah, and the part where bassists hate to have their instrument called a bass guitar, even though it is a guitar.
You mean "A better vocabulary"Yes, absolutely. But he'll do it with better vocabulary and grammar than the guitarist would.![]()
