2 1x15's or 1 6x10?

I run a Hartke HyDrive HD410 in conjunction with an out of production Trace-Elliot sound reinforcement cabinet with 10x1 + 18x1 speakers both driven by a Hartke LH1000.

10" and 18" inch speakers reproduce bass frequencies best IMHO.

I use to use a Sun 2x15 folded horn cabinet and i couldn't reproduce the low low end. But then again it was only driven by a 100 watt Sunn C-MOS Beta Bass solid state amp.

IMHO if you want real portability and great sound look into the Fender Rumble series. I have the 100 watt combo.

I gig a NV610 and I couldn't be happier. Such a easy move with this cab. tilt and roll. No, I have not had a load in where I have to climb up set of stairs, but even if I did, I have band mates there to help. What kind of band mate would any of us be, if they were unwilling to help? The kind of band mate that I wouldn't want to be associated with.
A 610 puts the top two drivers close to ear height, requires less volume to hear what I am doing. My old 4x10 and my current 2x10 let my ankles know what I was playing.
So of you guys should take up the flute!

What brand/type of amp do u use with your 6x10, if u don't mind me asking. Thanx!

I don't see many of those Fender Pro cabs. I've got two of the 410s, slant cab on top of straight cab. I love what I get out of them. :)

I've owned almost every bass cab Mesa has owned at one time, including:

PH810
PH610
PH410
PH210
PH212
PH115(x3)
PH215
PH1000
RR115
SW115(x2)

Out of those, I've kept the PH215, one of the PH115s, a PH210 and the pair of SW115s... I can state that the PH115 and PH210s are great by themselves, and work really well with one another, as well... I've gigged that pairing with a Shuttlemax 12.0 or Streamliner 900 quite a few times, and definitely will again - that setup kicks some serious @$$, especially with the Shuttlemax 12.0 - I would also say the 210/115 pairing is more balanced than the 410/115 pairing...

I don't have any direct experience with the traditional series, but really like my standard series PH115 and PH210 cabs - and again, those two cabs work really well together, or as separates... I don't seem to have any pics of those two stacked, but here they are:





I also have to say that a pair of the Subway 115s is a really good way to go here, and that if I had to make the choice, I'd sell the PH115 and 210, but keep the pair of SW115s...
