Not personally, but I used to tech briefly for a band that did. I might be wrong, but I think it was with a Mesa 400+ head. The guitarist in the band was also running two 120W tube heads, each into two 4x12 cabs, both running at full volume. TheDialog nailed it with his choice of words...ridiculous.

So unnecessary. You don't get any louder. You still can't dime your amp. I mean, you can, but who would need that much power?

I used to keep one in the trailer and the other in the practice space. Easier than always moving 810's...

Well I ordered my 2nd 810e today! When I get it all hooked up I'll let you know how ridiculous it is!

How about 2 810e's... a crossover... and 2 Barefaced dubsters for the lows (or 2 low tuned fEARful 1515/...'s)

Now that would be another kind of loud. but you'd need a lot more than a normal SVT to push it to it's limits...

EDIT: How about this... 2 SVT 810e's with matching SVT heads...

2 215 super cabs (as above) or similar sub - type cabs . . . now run these with about 3,000W of power amp.

As a biamp system - maybe wire a hofner beatle bass to give stereo out... My ears ache thinking about this...
