$20 Mosky Black Rat

The caps are what I've found generally blow, but all the ones I can see are rated above 18 volts (not sure on the ceramics). I haven't tried it yet, but once I get a look at the top board I'll give it a go.

Looking forward to the verdict. Thanks man.
what would the advantage of applying 18 volts be?

More headroom before clipping. Stronger lows possibly too.

Last night I recorded a demo to send to a friend of mine because he couldn't believe that 17,50 euros a pedal could sound as good as I was claiming.

I'm sharing here with you. I used 4 gain stages: first with the gain at 9 o'clock, second with the gain at 12 o'clok, third with the gain at 3 o'clock and the last one with the gain maxed. At every gain stage, I start with the filter at 12 o'clock, then set to 3 o'clock and then max the filter. There are some parts that sound louder than others, but at 1 a.m. I couldn't make everything perfect.
I'm playing my Yamaha BB1024X with flatwounds (Chromes), neck pickup soloed, tone maxed and I'm using a pick. I used my Mesa Subway DI and the Mooer Radar for cab sim to record direct in my Tascam DP-008EX because I can't use my amp at home late at night or else I'd be kicked from home by my wife and son, and my neighbours would all cheer this...

I hope you like how it sounds (don´t mind the playing, it was just to experiment with the pedal...)

Sounds great. Thanks. I guess I'm in the minority and I use the filter below noon. I don't find it too dark that way, but I guess others do. I just raise the gain a hair and I get my bite back.

Had a chance to A/B the Mosky with a Plague Rat with blend yesterday. While the Plague Rat is definitely more versatile and has better high end cut, the Mosky weirdly has more low end without the blend then the Plague Rat has with one. Go figure. You all need this pedal.
yeah. I plugged it in straight to a Jule Monique --> Crest Prolite 2.0 -->fearful 12/6/1. Thunderous and sludgy on that low B
