After playing around with it for an hour it's one of my favorite distortion pedals that I've tried.
I have been thinking along the same lines as you Gent. No matter what, the Mosky seems to be making it more and more to becoming at least a secondary, if not primary, distortion for me. I agree that the low gain settings are amazing. It's hard to reconcile a $20 pedal being as good or better as pretty much all my boutiques, but alas, I have to concur with you that this one is an amazing piece and deserves a place in every bassists arsenal who is looking for a rat. I am too much of a Fanboy of Dunwich to compare the Mosky favorably to the VT, and in reality, the VT has objectively a heavier bass feel to it than the Mosky, but there is still something about the Mosky that feels super responsive, natural and just plain fun. I can't seem to put it away. I love how you can see the LED's pumping under the Vintage/Turbo toggle if you look at it at the right angle. And like you (I even think I bought it off you) the Iron Pig V2 was a huge dissapointment for me.
