I would think the 70's models would be significantly more valuable than say 80'-83'

There is.

1976-79: $2000-$2400
1980-84: $1700-$2000

Then when EB takes over the range is $800-$1300 with the pre-89 EB's getting the slightly higher price.

It seems like the bass prices are much more accurate than the guitar ones.

The Gibson's are a bit confusing. The SG is actually and EB correct? I don't see and EB or SG Special. They list a few Ovations but not that model (or the Legend series).

I looked this up on my own earlier and thought it was interesting. Fullerton reissues have actually dropped a bit in value and the book puts all reissues from 82-89 in the same price range. After that all other reissues are $1000-$1100 which is only a few hundred cheaper. I would say that it's false but beyond a few rare cases I would say that Fullertons don't sell for what they used to.

As an example, I am looking at the 2009 price guide and the 82-85 Fullerton RI Jazzes are $1150-1250! That is ridicules and I haven't seen a clean original Fullerton Jazz sell for that since the early 2000s.

I ended up parting my Fullerton. Granted it had some wear, a refret and pickup replaced but I couldn't even give it away at $1100. Parted it out and made a ton more than that. I feel bad but that is what the market is forcing right now. Sometimes they are worth more as pieces.
