It's pretty amazing to go from 29th place last year to 2nd in the conference this year. Is Patrick Roy in line for the Jack Adams award? The Avs have owned Chicago this year going 4-1.

I think Chicago has lost every game they played against Colorado

Well, that's two out of three in so-called "Death Valley". Third place in the East. And record against (supposedly) superior Western Conference now 14-9-2. Hmm....What happened to all the talk about how Detroit would "own the East" when they moved? Some pretty good teams in the East it seems.

The run by the Kings comes to an end, but it was an impressive stretch. Toronto loses Bernier in the win, not good for them.

Stamkos gets his first goal since returning and the new guy, Callahan, put one in as well.

I'm a Bruins guy too, so it's only 28 teams that can all go take a flying leap. I used to be somewhat partial to the Hawks, but they're in our division now, so they can get bent too.
