2013-2014 NHL playoffs thread.

Depends on the hockey gods. Historically & with few exceptions, they crap on Boston & think Montreal is the cat's meow. I remember watching Billy Guerin bounce a puck off the knob of Theodore's stick while his jockstrap was in Row 15. The hockey gods are Francophones, don't you know.

What DarthH said especially if Montreal is able to get under the B's skin and frustrate them out of Claude's system. Also, Budaj has a lot of confidence at the Garden. Does anyone know if the Habs are planning to use both goaltenders in the series - I would if I were them.

Tough crowd for the Hart Trophy this year: [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]
I'm picking Marleau for the Lady Bing: [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

Oh man, both of those are solid lists this year. I think for Lady Byng I'd pick O'Reilly. For Hart, I'm bias toward Crosby of course, especially since it'd peeve so many people. Giroux would be my very close 2nd pick though.

Why all the negative vibes for the Wild? They outplayed the "Avs" and came back when they needed to - 4 times in one game. They deserve to be in the second round as much as anyone.

Not from me. I commented how happy I was they won. I like Mike Yeo and Ilya Bryzgalov, so it was cool to see them tie it up then win it in OT. I'm not sure there is a better moment in professional sports than OT of a game seven NHL playoff game.

To me the Hart is a no brainer. Pens had the most man games lost this year, and at times were playing with half their AHL affiliate in the lineup. Crosby played consistently at a high level all year and no one even came close to touching him in the points race. He was easily the best player in the league this year.
